NeuraLink’s architecture is built around five essential modules, each supporting a different layer of the decentralized AI lifecycle—from data management to simulation, incentives, task execution, and governance.
These modules can function as an integrated ecosystem or be accessed independently via APIs.
3.1 Data Vault
Data is the raw material of intelligence. NeuraLink provides a permission-controlled, multi-modal data warehouse that supports text, images, audio, video, and logs. Users can upload, structure, and monetize their data.

The Simulation Engine powers the on-chain AI training workflow. It transforms training tasks into cooperative simulations governed by smart contracts and verified by community nodes.

3.3 Reward Layer
The Reward Layer automates token incentives through smart contracts based on user behavior and contribution quality.

3.4 Task Portal
The Task Portal is the main interface for creating, browsing, or participating in AI tasks. It supports both end users and automated agents through APIs.

3.5 Governance Layer (NeuraDAO)
NeuraDAO governs all key protocol decisions including incentive parameters, model listing policies, treasury allocation, and protocol upgrades.

Budget governance for ecosystem grants
Reward policy adjustments
Consensus over simulation parameters
Over time, control over the entire protocol will transition from the founding team to the Neura community, ensuring long-term decentralization and resistance to censorship.
