🕸️ Decentralization & DAO

NeuraLink is governed by NeuraDAO, a decentralized system that enables token holders to propose, vote, and shape the platform’s evolution—including simulation parameters, model approval policies, and treasury spending.

6.1 Governance Structure

Layer
Function

Token Holders

All Neura holders can vote and submit basic proposals

Delegation Council

Token holders can delegate voting power to representatives

Multisig Committee

Early-stage execution authority; will gradually hand over to full DAO

6.2 Governance Scope

NeuraDAO governs all major protocol-level functions, including:

  • Model onboarding and review mechanisms

  • Incentive ratio tuning and task weighting

  • Treasury fund allocation (grants, audits, ecosystem rewards)

  • Simulation engine parameter updates

  • Protocol upgrades and contract replacements

All decisions are enforced by on-chain smart contracts with full auditability.

6.3 Proposal & Voting Process

  1. Proposal Submission: Requires a minimum Neura holding threshold

  2. Community Discussion: Open debate via forum or DAO tools (e.g., Tally)

  3. Formal Voting: On-chain governance vote based on stake or reputation

  4. Execution: Through multisig (Phase 1) or automated contracts (Phase 2+)

Example Parameters:

  • Proposal threshold: 100,000 Neura

  • Quorum: ≥3% of circulating supply

  • Execution delay (time lock): 48 hours post-vote

6.4 Governance Participation Rewards

Action
Incentive Type

Submit Approved Proposals

Neura token reward + community reputation points

Consistent Voting

Earns governance score and unlocks tiered privileges

Multisig Node Operation

Basic compensation and gas reimbursement

Active Evaluator/Reviewer

Quarterly bonus or DAO-funded role nomination

6.5 Governance Evolution Plan

Phase
Status
Description

Phase 1

Semi-autonomous

Multisig control with community suggestions (launch phase)

Phase 2

Protocol-driven

Token-weighted proposals control incentives and rules

Phase 3

Fully autonomous

DAO fully controls codebase, upgrades, and economic levers

The governance system will balance early efficiency with long-term decentralization, enabling the NeuraLink ecosystem to adapt as participation and complexity grow.
